ayekarumba

Tonight I was in the mood to bake cookies. They flopped. Unless you put lots of frosting on them. Tonight Jenae was in the mood to make a roast. It flopped. Unless you only ate the carrots and potatoes that went along with it. Tonight we were failures in the kitchen. Tomorrow we go to Bluffton. We won't have to eat our own cooking out there.

dang...that whole "we buy ingredients - you cook us supper" deal...yeah...I'm re-thinking that now. :)

ok so the cookies were flat, and might have tasted like bananas, and might have been a day old or so, but they were still edible.
Thanks for all the smarties, and letting me sleep w/ you :-)

i hope you had fun in bluffton. I'm sorry I didn't go, but it was the right decision. I helped mom and dad outside pretty much all day. and then researched pretty much all night. and still didn't feel like i got anywhere. can't wait to hear about it though...love ya!

Serioulsly, flopping in kitchen can be so stinkin' frustrating! You put all this time, energy, and expectation into your product, then it just turns around and blows raspberries at you! I feel your frustration. You are not a failure, the cookies are the ones who failed. Some people like to get high on frosting! :)
