Oh my, I am overwhelmed. I got here Friday night and soon realized I really should have came on Saturday because there was nothing to do and the first two days were looooonnnnng. I am also quickly realizing that two semesters of Spanish at ICC really does not amount to much in the grand scheme of things. I know squat. Diddly squat.
My host family is nice and the two kids still living at home know English which is nice for me but bad because it´s way to easy to just have them translate when I´m confused.
I´ve already had a taxi and a bus experience. So far I think I prefer just walking.
I´m going to have a stomach of steel by the time this is all said and done. Good thing I brought tums and Pepto is all I have to say about that.
Classes started today and they are intense but I like them. As of today there are two other people in my class but that will probably change from my understanding.
Gotta go now. I´m going to try out this conversation club that they have here. Something tells me I´ll be doing a lot more listening than conversing.

Well you can always resort to my favorite spanish word, pollo. Maybe that would help your tums problem too...
