Heat Wave

I just want to let all you northerners know that while you are dealing with ice and snow storms, it's been in the mid 70's for the past three days here in Dixieland. We turned the air on at the preschool. Just thought you'd be interested to hear that.

I used to really despise winter. I really don't like the cold...because I'm always cold, so why invite more coldness? Anyway, the last few years I've really come to appreciate the beauty of snow on evergreen trees, the pure whiteness of snow itself, and the wonder of a snowstorm. It just fascinates me :)

Don't get me wrong, my favorite season is spring, y'all. The temperature is just right, all the living plants are budding, the sun shines, it rains, the smell...oh I could go on and on :)

Anyways, Sarah, I'm glad you get to have the blessing of nice weather. It snowed again today...

Oh, and FYI...

I crashed my car on Thursday. It was really sad...I cried. Little Red, may she rest in peace, shall be driven no more forever :(
